Lee Gibson was raised in Annapolis, MD and Westport, CT (an artist colony), but she came south over 20 years ago.
Aside from living in Warsaw, Poland and traveling throughout Europe, Lee was able to study at the renowned Glasgow School of Art in Glasgow, Scotland. She employs the use of a unique technique in which she uses her knife in her oil paintings which makes the colors both earthy and vibrant, to reflect the inner eye’s perspective.
"Painting is my elixir," says Lee. To her, it is an almost magical escape from the reality of this world.
