Jeremy Doss grew up in north Alabama where he spent much of his time outdoors. It is here that he discovered the beauty of nature but his talent does not top there. He also has a passion for painting figures and still life and paints in oils with a mixture of impressionism and realism.
Primarily self-taught, Jeremy prefers the alla prima style of painting and in a word, is diverse as an artist. He has come to know the the Lord is why he paints. Jeremy hopes that as a viewer looks at a painting they have a sense of hope and peace.
Jeremy has traveled many places to paint and has lived in New York City and Santa Fe, New Mexico. Currently, the artist and his wife live with their two beautiful children in Townsend, Tennessee.

Artist's Statement: There is no way I can recreate what has been masterfully created, nor do I want to try. Yet, I have been privileged to paint how it makes me feel.
