Rani Garner is a career artist living in rural Georgia. Originally from Phoenix, Arizona, she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Arizona State University and has been painting professionally since 1989. The focus of her artwork is on capturing the essence of light. Early morning walks and visits to the Gulf Coast are the major inspirations for her paintings, which are prized by collectors who are reminded of their own meaningful moments of communion with light and what it symbolizes to them. Another artist has said of her work, “It is as if she has taken the best parts of a day and condensed them down into one single, perfect moment.” Rani’s paintings have been exhibited widely in both solo and group shows. Her work is included in the collections of Baptist South Medical Center, Federal Reserve Bank, Bank of America and the Marriott Hotel.
